Naaman's Healing: A Biblical Example of Arrogance (Application Challenge and Prayer)
Students today are bombarded by television and media showing them examples of prideful and arrogant behavior. But, is this what God wants for us? Humility can be a difficult concept to students to understand. Jesus was the most humble person who ever lived! He was so humble he gave his life for us, even when we didn’t deserve it! This series will seek to introduce students to the Biblical concept of humility and bring kids closer to understanding the amazing character of God!
This activity is intended to encourage youth to apply what they learned from the Naaman’s Healing Youth Message to their own lives. The message and discussion questions can be purchased separately. For the entire lesson, please see the lesson plans tab.

HUMILITY: Knowing our gifts come from God and not from us.
MEMORY VERSE: “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” James 4:10 NIV
Naaman’s Healing
Scripture: 2 Kings 5:1-19
Naaman was a wonderful soldier, but he had a terrible skin disease. In this lesson, students will look at Naaman: A Biblical Example of Arrogance.
Objective: Kids will learn that the Church is a fellowship of believers who are called to meet together regularly for the sake of studying Scripture, prayer, worship, serving, encouraging one another, and to testify to God’s goodness to the world.
